The counter-strike source team in Ministry of Defence is rather new, a team that not only focus on the team work but playing because they like it and want to become the best. A new team dont become world champions on 1 week or 1 month but we are talking about months and months of practice and intense gaming up to LAN events and so on.
One of the first online events the counter-strike source team is attending is the european ClanBase OpenCup. Without any results other than individual results for each player the team got picked for the Premier League in CB:OC, this suprized everyone in the team and gave the team a mental boost that they needed at the moment.
It sure has been some tough weeks for the team, loosing a player and stuff like vacation.
After the vacation, they teamed up with
Necrodinho. With the last player on the team found, the team was ready to do some intense practice to fight against the danish css scene and do european succes.
I have taken a talk to
Bellator about not only the expectations to the CB:OC but also how the team works out.
Hello there Nikolaj, for the readers who dont know who you are and where you are from. Please introduce yourself
Hi Martin, my name is Nikolaj, Im 19 years old, and am currently at my last year of college, when Im not drunk or at college I sit infront of my computer under the Alias Bellator, and am currently playing for MoD.
Lets start out with CB:OC, you guys is attending in the Premier League this season. Did you expect to be placed there?
At first i was a bit surprised, talking into acount that we were a new team, I wouldnt have thought we would end up in Premier division, but after reading some of the rules it occured to me that we were put in the Premier division because of individual accomplishments made by the gamers in the team, myself being and old Vexed and noname player (who both made it to the brackets), yourself being and ex Phobos player and the rest of our teammates had proven them somewhat cappable of doing the same
There is alot of great teams attending this season. What are your expectations, you guys going for the gold or what?
My expectations arent gold atm. my goal is to get on to the brackets, and then we will take it from there.
The reason why Im not aiming for the big gold is that we are a new team that has to learn to play together, and because of the great competition this year, with several topteams attending the premier league
That was all for now Nikolaj, we will take a talk to you later on when the match for tonight is played. Last words for you.
Thanks to tombstone for taking us in as a team, and for the great job all the managers and players have done to get this going, our sponsors. Youll be seing me a lot on multiplayer-Noteblok in the summer time
